Bespoke
Hand crafted to tell your stories
Whether you are creating an engagement ring, transforming an inherited piece of jewellery or marking a moment that holds particular meaning, the Semai Gold bespoke service is centred around creating something entirely personal to you.
From the first conversation through to the finished piece, I will guide you through each stage of the process, bringing together your ideas, stories and chosen materials to create a piece designed to be worn and treasured for years to come.
Step 1:
Consultation & Stone Sourcing
The bespoke process begins with a consultation where we will discuss your ideas, inspiration, budget and any initial thoughts you may have around stones, metal, shape or setting.
You do not need to arrive with a finished design in mind. Part of the process is exploring what you are drawn to and developing those ideas into something that feels distinctly yours.
Where required, I will source a carefully considered selection of natural or laboratory-grown diamonds and gemstones from my trusted network of specialist stone dealers, taking into account your preferred colour, cut, character, specifications and budget.
If you already have a stone or an existing piece of jewellery you would like to remodel, we can also explore how this can be thoughtfully incorporated into your new design.
Step 2:
Design & Refinement
Once we have established a direction, your design will begin to take shape.
Depending on the piece, this may include sketches, design development and a detailed CAD model with 3D renderings, allowing you to visualise the proportions, setting and finer details before anything is made.
This stage is collaborative, and you will have the opportunity to review the design and request refinements before giving your final approval for production.
Step 3:
Making Your Piece
Once the design has been approved, your jewellery will move into production.
Every Semai Gold piece is made in London, between our in-house workshop and trusted specialist craftspeople within Hatton Garden. Traditional goldsmithing skills are combined with modern jewellery-making techniques to ensure each piece is beautifully made, carefully finished and created with longevity in mind.
Because every bespoke piece is individually designed and made for you, commissions typically take approximately 6–8 weeks from final design and stone approval, although more complex pieces may require additional time.
Once complete, your jewellery will undergo a final quality inspection before being carefully packaged and either securely delivered to you or arranged for collection.
