Sustainability is at the core of Semai Gold’s ethos. Every piece is made using 100% recycled precious metals, allowing us to work with gold and other precious materials while reducing the need for newly mined resources.
Responsible Gemstone Sourcing
Our gemstones are sourced through a small, trusted network of local UK stone dealers who share our commitment to responsible sourcing and ethical practices. We choose our suppliers carefully and value transparency, traceability and long-standing relationships.
Natural Diamonds
We work closely with a small handful of trusted suppliers (both locally and internationally) to provide conflict free natural diamonds. All diamonds are sourced in line with the Kimberley process and all diamonds over 0.50ct are certified to ensure this using the worlds most renowned diamond laboratories (IGI, GIA and IGR Global).
Laboratory-Grown Diamonds
Laboratory-grown diamonds are physically and chemically identical to natural diamonds and are assessed using the same 4Cs: carat, colour, clarity and cut.
All laboratory-grown diamonds over 1ct are accompanied by certification from internationally recognised diamond grading laboratories such as GIA, IGI and IGR Global. You will receive either a digital or physical copy of your diamond certificate with your order.
Made in London
All Semai Gold jewellery is made in London, United Kingdom, between our in-house workshop and specialist craftspeople within the historic Hatton Garden jewellery district.
Keeping our production local allows us to work closely with the people making each piece, while proudly supporting British craftsmanship, specialist skills and London’s long-standing jewellery-making heritage.
Made to Order
Every Semai Gold piece is made to order. By producing jewellery individually rather than holding large quantities of stock, we are able to minimise unnecessary production and reduce material waste.
